How to Change Workspace Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your workspace plan based on your needs. Here's how:
Understanding Plans
retaincoda offers three plans:
- Starter: 1 user, perfect for solo freelancers
- Partner: Up to 2 users, ideal for small teams
- Team: Unlimited users, for larger organizations
Accessing Plan Management
Navigate to Workspace Settings → "Subscriptions" tab to view your current plan and available options.
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade:
- Go to the Subscriptions tab
- Review the available plans
- Select the plan you want to upgrade to
- Follow the upgrade process
Downgrading Your Plan
To downgrade:
- Go to the Subscriptions tab
- Click on "Downgrade Plan"
- Select the plan you want to downgrade to
- Confirm the downgrade
Important Considerations
Before changing plans, consider:
- User Limits: Make sure your current number of members doesn't exceed the new plan's limit
- Data: Your data is preserved when changing plans
- Billing: Plan changes may affect your billing cycle
Removing Members Before Downgrade
If downgrading to a plan with fewer users:
- Remove excess members from your workspace
- Then proceed with the downgrade
- The system will prevent downgrade if you have too many members

You can always upgrade later if you need more users or features. Start with a plan that fits your current needs.
⚠️ Important:
Only workspace admins can change the workspace plan. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the end of your billing cycle, depending on your subscription type.
