How to Change Workspace Plan

You can upgrade or downgrade your workspace plan based on your needs. Here's how:

Understanding Plans

retaincoda offers three plans:

  • Starter: 1 user, perfect for solo freelancers
  • Partner: Up to 2 users, ideal for small teams
  • Team: Unlimited users, for larger organizations

Accessing Plan Management

Navigate to Workspace Settings"Subscriptions" tab to view your current plan and available options.

Upgrading Your Plan

To upgrade:

  1. Go to the Subscriptions tab
  2. Review the available plans
  3. Select the plan you want to upgrade to
  4. Follow the upgrade process

Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade:

  1. Go to the Subscriptions tab
  2. Click on "Downgrade Plan"
  3. Select the plan you want to downgrade to
  4. Confirm the downgrade

Important Considerations

Before changing plans, consider:

  • User Limits: Make sure your current number of members doesn't exceed the new plan's limit
  • Data: Your data is preserved when changing plans
  • Billing: Plan changes may affect your billing cycle

Removing Members Before Downgrade

If downgrading to a plan with fewer users:

  1. Remove excess members from your workspace
  2. Then proceed with the downgrade
  3. The system will prevent downgrade if you have too many members
💡 Tip:

You can always upgrade later if you need more users or features. Start with a plan that fits your current needs.

⚠️ Important:

Only workspace admins can change the workspace plan. Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the end of your billing cycle, depending on your subscription type.
