How to Manage Leads

Leads help you track potential clients through your sales pipeline. Here's how to manage them:

Viewing Leads

Access your leads by clicking "Leads" in the navigation menu, or visit /leads.

Editing a Lead

To edit a lead:

  1. Click on the lead you want to edit
  2. Click the "Edit" button
  3. Update the information (name, email, phone, company, status, notes, etc.)
  4. Click "Update Lead" to save

Updating Lead Status

Track your lead's progress by updating their status:

  • New: Recently captured lead
  • Contacted: Initial contact made
  • Qualified: Lead meets your criteria
  • Proposal Sent: Proposal has been sent
  • Negotiating: In discussion phase
  • Converted: Successfully converted to client/project
  • Lost: Lead did not convert

Converting Leads

You can convert a lead in two ways:

  • To Client: Convert directly to a client without creating a project
  • To Project: Convert to a client and create a project simultaneously

Deleting a Lead

To delete a lead:

  1. Open the lead details page
  2. Click "Delete Lead"
  3. Confirm the deletion

Lead Tracking

You can track additional information for leads:

  • Source (where the lead came from)
  • Estimated value
  • Effort and token tracking (for AI-powered workflows)
  • Platform used
  • Notes and additional details
💡 Tip:

Regularly update lead statuses to keep your pipeline accurate. This helps you identify bottlenecks and improve your conversion process.
