How to Revoke Client Portal Access

If you need to revoke a client's access to the portal, here's how:

Step 1: Access Client Details

Navigate to Clients → Click on the client you want to revoke access for, or visit /clients/view/{id}.

Step 2: Find Portal Access Section

On the client details page, look for the "Client Portal Access" section.

Step 3: Revoke Access

Click the "Revoke Portal Access" button. This will:

  • Invalidate all existing portal tokens for this client
  • Prevent the client from accessing the portal
  • Allow you to send a new portal link later if needed

After Revoking Access

Once revoked:

  • All existing portal links for this client will stop working
  • The client will no longer be able to access invoices, proposals, or contracts
  • You can send a new portal link at any time to restore access

Restoring Access

To restore portal access:

  1. Go back to the client details page
  2. Click "Send Portal Link"
  3. A new portal link will be generated and sent to the client
⚠️ Important:

Revoking access immediately invalidates all portal links. The client will need a new link to access the portal again.
