How to View Invoices in the Portal (Client)

As a client, you can view and manage your invoices through the Client Portal. Here's how:

Step 1: Access Client Portal

Log into the Client Portal using the portal link sent to you by your service provider.

Step 2: Navigate to Invoices

In the Client Portal, you'll see an "Invoices" section showing all invoices shared with you.

Viewing Invoice Details

Click on an invoice to view:

  • Invoice number and dates
  • All line items with descriptions and prices
  • Tax calculations
  • Discounts applied
  • Total amount
  • Payment status
  • Amount paid and balance due

Downloading Invoice PDF

To download a PDF copy:

  1. Open the invoice
  2. Click "Download PDF"
  3. A professional PDF will be generated and downloaded

Marking Invoice as Paid

If you've made payment:

  1. Open the invoice
  2. Click "Mark as Paid"
  3. Confirm the payment
  4. The service provider will be notified

Viewing Milestones

If an invoice is linked to project milestones, you can:

  • See which milestones are included
  • View payment status for each milestone
  • Track which work items have been paid

Invoice Status

Invoices show their current status:

  • Draft: Being prepared (usually not visible)
  • Sent: Shared with you
  • Paid: Fully paid
  • Partially Paid: Some payment received
  • Overdue: Past due date

Download PDF copies of invoices for your accounting records. The portal maintains a history of all invoices shared with you.
